Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the roleThis is a genuinely unique and exciting opportunity to leverage your Sales Management experience in a role that is primarily focused on developing the current sales team and raising the bar of excellence. You will mentor, train, upskill & lead a diverse sales team of 14 in line with overseeing a few major accounts. This will encompass everything across sales process, customer experience, systems, promotional strategy and merchandising.Duties Spend time in the ground and in field with your team & customers and lead by example with sales process, consultative selling and negotiation initiatives.Implement proven sales methodologies to help upskill the team & drive increased performance.Oversee all reporting and compliance - sales cycles, margins, pipeline, call visits & revenue. Ultimately be responsible for lifting the bar and achieving/exceeding the sales budget Skills and ExperienceExperience managing a sales team with a proven background in driving consistent high performance.Passion for coaching, motivating & training salespeople via demonstrated methods.Sales Management experience in within a fast paced wholesale food environment; prior experience selling into the Markets, Foodservice and/or Retail will be highly regardedExcellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to work with a diverse group of people and ages.Proven experience of being able to multi-task within a fast passed environment. Commercially astute and analytically minded.BenefitsExcellent company culture who are very protective of their peopleAttractive salary package and incentivesDiverse role that will provide genuine breadth of exposure across the business and a varied customer base About the companyThe business has grown from strength to strength over the last 40 years to become one of the largest wholesalers of quality fresh fruit and vegetables within the Sydney Markets.
