National Spare Parts Manager - Brisbane or Sydney Based

Generator Power (A YANMAR group company) is an established global generator, load bank, battery energy storage, lighting tower and power distribution specialist. Our industry offers a wide variety of work opportunities in various markets, all of which rely heavily on electrical power availability.

Our service business has presented an opportunity for a national spare parts manager to join our team and be based in either our Brisbane branch or Sydney branch.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a full time, permanent position.

DUTIES:

• Evaluate current spare parts business line structure & implement required       changes to allow for future growth.                    
• Implement company parts policies and procedures.
•  Carry out training on new procedures with all sales staff.                                    
• Setup Inventory management plan to ensure correct stock levels are                 available.                                                                    
•  Parts procurement.                                                                                        
•  Liaise and negotiate with suppliers.                                                              
•  Carry out all tasks with a strong focus on customer service

• Previous experience with a similar role
• Attention to detail
• Highly organised
• Self-motivated and adaptable with a 'can do' attitude
• Ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Commercial and financial discipline to ensure the smooth operation of the parts department  
• Must have relevant working rights in Australia
