The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established NDIS provider to find a hands-on Team Leader for one of their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Sydney's Inner West.
This is a role for someone ready to step up from support work but who still wants to stay close to the people they support. You'll lead a team of Disability Support Workers, keep the home running smoothly, and make sure every participant gets consistent, person-centred care.
It's a stakeholder-heavy role. You'll be working across families, Support Coordinators, allied health professionals and medical practitioners, and you'll need to be comfortable reading complex clinical documentation and translating it into practical direction for your team. Candidates with a clinical or health background are particularly encouraged to apply.
About Our Client
Our client delivers Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Respite Accommodation (MTA/STA) for NDIS participants across Sydney. Their homes are built around the people who live in them â their routines, their preferences, their goals.
They're a values-driven organisation with a genuine focus on quality of care and on developing their people internally.
The Role
Reporting to the SIL Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative management of a SIL home while leading and supporting the team on the ground.
You'll coordinate rostering, workforce planning, participant services, compliance and household operations. You'll also provide direct participant support when needed â but the core of the role is leadership, service quality, and making sure the home operates well and meets its obligations.

- Household management â Manage supplies, equipment and admin processes so the home runs efficiently.
- People management â Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management alongside the SIL Manager and People & Culture team.
- Participant support â Provide direct support where required, including personal care, implementing support plans and promoting community participation.
