A well-established, nationally operating organisation with a distributed footprint across corporate offices, operational sites and warehouses. The company operates a lean internal technology function and partners closely with a managed service provider to deliver high-availability network services that support critical operations across Australia.

Your new role
As a Network Engineer, you will join a small, collaborative team providing operational and project-based network support across multiple sites.
You will be responsible for day-to-day network operations, incident and request management, planned maintenance activities and supporting infrastructure projects. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical users and flexibility to work out-of-hours as part of a rotating support roster.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A strong background in network engineering within an enterprise or service-based environment
• Telephony experience (VoIP / unified communications) - mandatory
• Hands-on experience in Cisco environments (IOS, Nexus) or equivalent transferable skills (e.g. Juniper)
• Experience supporting BAU operations, including incident, request and change management
• Exposure to working alongside managed service providers
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across operational staff, management and corporate teams
• Project delivery or coordination experience
• A basic understanding of network security principles
• CCNA certification
