Network Engineer - Contract - Australia

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain IP-based network solutions across enterprise and specialized environments
  


• Implement and manage secure network architectures, including Cisco-based security frameworks
  


• Work on virtualized and cloud environments (OpenStack, VMware, OpenShift)
  


• Automate network provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible and Puppet
  


• Support Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) deployments and operations
  


• Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows for network optimization
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and compliant network solutions
  


• Support specialized network requirements including satellite and secure communications environments
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Advanced expertise in IP Networking and Network Engineering concepts
  


• Strong experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, VMware Cisco Network Security, Automation tools: Ansible, Puppet
  


• Knowledge of network security and secure architecture design
  


• Experience with coding/scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation
  


• Exposure to satellite networks or specialized communication systems
  


• Experience in security-focused or regulated environments
  


• Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills
