Zenith Connected Energy is responsible for the development and operation of our expanding portfolio of grid connected assets, which include microgrids at Peel Business Park, Ocean Reef Marina, and Eglinton Village.

About The Role

The Network Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Zenith Connected Energy assets to ensure safe, reliable supply, distribution and optimal performance, including:

• Energy supply - implementing and managing network monitoring tools
• Overseeing the configuration and maintenance of the network
• Management of sub-contractors
• Liaising with the asset management team
• New connections, including design review, oversight, and commissioning.
• Lead annual operations and maintenance budget
• Oversee periodical billing and metering requirements
• Analyse and interpret financial data to support strategic initiatives.

About You

As the Network Operations Manager, you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.

Experience:

• Leadership experience as an Operations/Asset Manager
• Demonstrated experience in power generation, industry gas, diesel and renewable generation
• Experience in FIFO remote operations
• Experience in HSE requirements in a heavy industry environment

Skills:

• Ability to budget, forecast and cost control
• Ability to lead, prioritise and delegate with respect to managing workload and a team
• Strong Interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, management, and the broader team.
• Ability to report and analyse result and recommend solutions to mitigate risks

Knowledge:

• Demonstrated understanding of renewable power generation maintenance requirements.
• Understanding of renewable energy generation and energy storage systems.

Qualifications:

• Electrical, Mechanical Trade or Degree Qualification in Engineering
