If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a Network Support Senior Specialist to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales (AU-NSW), Australia (AU).\n\nMid to Senior-Level Network Operations Specialist\n\nThe Mid to Senior-Level Network Operations Specialist is a critical member of the IT Infrastructure team, responsible for overseeing the operational performance, availability, and scalability of enterprise-wide network systems. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure the secure, reliable, and optimal delivery of networking services across data centers, branch offices, cloud environments, and remote users.\n\nOperating at a senior technical tier, the role requires deep knowledge of networking protocols and architectures, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset to monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of network operations while contributing to architectural decisions and strategic infrastructure planning.\n\n* * *\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manage and maintain complex LAN/WAN environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.\n * Serve as an escalation point for high-severity incidents and conduct end-to-end root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.\n * Lead the deployment and optimization of enterprise network monitoring tools\n * Implement and enforce network security best practices in collaboration with cybersecurity and compliance teams.\n * Coordinate and execute planned maintenance, firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and network migrations.\n * Analyze network capacity trends and recommend improvements to support scalability and performance optimization.\n * Support change management processes, including scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and network reconfigurations.\n * Participate in network design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that align with business goals.\n * Document technical processes, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and mentor junior network staff.\n * Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL standards.\n\n\n\nParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotation or provide senior-level oversight during cr\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
