• The Employment Law team works closely with broader people, workforce and business advisory specialists, providing clients with practical and commercially focused advice on their workplace obligations and strategies.

About the role:

Working within the Employment Law team, you will advise clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

• Employment contracts, policies and workplace compliance.


• Performance management, disciplinary matters and terminations.


• Workplace investigations and sensitive employee relations matters.


• Restructures, redundancies and organisational change.


• Employment disputes and workplace claims.


• Employment aspects of corporate transactions and business restructures.


• Managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate:

• 3–6 years’ PQE with strong experience gained within a reputable employment practice, commercial law firm or relevant in-house environment.


• Strong technical knowledge across employment and workplace relations matters.


• A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing advice.


• Strong communication and client relationship skills.


• The ability to manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively within a broader team.
