About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate with 5+ years’ PQE to join the firm’s Corporate & Commercial team in Sydney.

Your work will include:

• Advising on corporate structuring, governance and regulatory matters;


• Drafting complex legal advice, submissions and commercial documentation;


• Advising clients on regulatory approvals, concessions and compliance issues;


• Drafting and reviewing constitutions, governance documents and agreements;


• Advising on internal corporate and stakeholder disputes;


• Acting on mergers, restructures and other corporate transactions; and


• Managing matters and developing strong relationships with key clients.

The ideal candidate:

• 5+ years’ PQE gained within corporate and/or commercial law;


• Strong experience in corporate advisory and commercial matters, with experience advising charities highly regarded;


• Excellent drafting and technical legal skills;


• Strong commercial judgement and client relationship skills;


• The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively; and


• At least a credit average from a well-respected university.
