Job Description

We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Integration Analyst to support, administer and optimise critical enterprise integration and middleware platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale technology environment, taking responsibility for the operation, configuration and continuous improvement of business-critical integration services. You'll provide technical leadership across Kong API Gateway, middleware, APIs and enterprise integration platforms, while supporting major project delivery and highly available production environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  Administering, configuring, securing and maintaining enterprise integration and middleware platforms, including Kong API Gateway

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing integration solution designs and providing technical guidance to ensure approved architecture patterns and standards are followed

  
  


• 
  

  Defining and maintaining API standards, frameworks and integration best practices

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting highly available middleware environments, including active-active and active-passive configurations

  
  


• 
  

  Managing platform installations, upgrades, patching, configuration, backup and recovery

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, messaging middleware and Managed File Transfer solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshooting production incidents and resolving complex integration and configuration issues within agreed SLAs

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting the setup, scaling and onboarding of new integration environments

  
  


• 
  

  Developing monitoring dashboards and improving platform observability, performance and reliability

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying opportunities to automate operational activities through DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

  
  

About you:

• 
  

  Previous experience managing enterprise integration or middleware platforms within complex production environments

  
  


• 
  

  Strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with enterprise integration technologies including Managed File Transfer, messaging middleware and/or webMethods

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience supporting Business-to-Business (B2B) and Enterprise Application Integration environments

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of authentication and security protocols including OAuth, OIDC, JWT and TLS/SSL

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTPS, SMTP and LDAP

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Kong Gateway Certified Associate certification is mandatory.

  
  


• 
  

  Australian Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.

  
  


• 
  

  A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is highly regarded.

  
  


• 
  

  Boomi platform administration experience or certification will be highly regarded.
