Job Description

We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Solution Architect – AI to support a major legacy system replacement and broader technology modernisation program.

This is an exciting opportunity to help define the target-state architecture for a complex enterprise environment, working across cloud, on-premise and hybrid technologies. A key focus of the role will be ensuring platforms and systems are ready to support the future implementation of secure, isolated AI solutions and AI Agents.

Key responsibilities include:

  Developing detailed logical and physical solution architecture and design specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Defining target-state architecture for the replacement and modernisation of legacy platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Working across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments

  
  


• 
  

  Providing detailed architecture across infrastructure, networks, applications and security

  
  


• 
  

  Conducting independent assessments of platforms, technology stacks and proposed solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Assessing and designing environments to support AI products and AI Agents

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting the transition of AI initiatives from proof-of-concept towards production-ready solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Working closely with Business Analysts, security teams and technical stakeholders throughout delivery

  
  


• 
  

  Providing architectural guidance and oversight through implementation

  
  

About you:

• 
  

  Proven experience as a Solution Architect working across complex enterprise environments

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience producing detailed logical and physical architecture and design documentation, rather than purely conceptual architecture

  
  


• 
  

  Broad technical experience across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, applications and security

  
  


• 
  

  Experience implementing AI Agents or agentic AI solutions, and/or modernising platforms to enable secure AI adoption

  
  


• 
  

  Experience assessing legacy systems and defining practical modernisation and target-state strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work at both a strategic architecture level and get into granular technical detail when required

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Australian Citizenship (due to client security requirements)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working within complex, secure or regulated enterprise environments will be highly regarded.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with AI Agents, enterprise AI implementation or preparing technology environments for AI adoption will be highly regarded.
