The Night Auditor at Courtyard By Marriott plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This position involves performing financial audits, completing daily reports, and providing exceptional service to guests checking in or out during the night. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong numerical skills, and is adept at problem-solving while providing a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports and summaries to management.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing exceptional service during late hours.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and issues in a professional manner.
• Monitor the hotel property, ensuring safety and security for guests and staff throughout the night.
• Assist with balancing cash drawers, processing payments, and reconciling discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any operational needs or guest requests during the night shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or auditing role preferred.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Use of Opera and Freedompay preferred.
