The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity at Milton Park Country House Hotel and Spa located in the Southern Highlands for a Night Auditor to join the team. You will be an integral part of delivering our quality accommodation experience to our guests.

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of the hotel's front desk during nighttime hours. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial records, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring the safety and security of guests and property.

Here's what you'll do

• Conduct front desk duties including guest check-in and check-out processes during the night shift as well as administrative tasks;
• Verify and balance all revenue and settlement accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and backup the PMS end of day and roll over;
• Prepare daily financial reports summarising revenue, occupancy rates, and other key metrics for management review;
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner;
• Conduct security patrols of the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and property;
• Perform any ad-hoc items as instructed by Front Office Manager. 

This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role

• Hands-on experience at a luxury property within a Guest Services or Night Audit role (essential);
• Must be a night owl, with the ability to work on your own, unsupervised;
• A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature; 
• Experience with end of day balancing and the ability to solve reconciliation problems;
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), First Aid Certificate and Fire & Emergency Response Training (desirable);
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required;
• Drivers licence required.
