About the Position

Mission Foods is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Business Development Manager in NSW that is looking for career progression, development and a long term future role in an exciting company.

The successful applicant will join our Foodservice Sales team with a clear career path and direction, the suitable applicant will have relevant and current experience in the Foodservice sector and familiar with the methodology of this business segment.

Reporting to the NSW Food Service State Sales Manager, your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to):

  • Presenting new product ideas, providing menu solutions to customers
  • Lead, create, undertake and deliver comprehensive sales and business development strategies.
  • Manage End User calls, develop distributor relationships, identify opportunities within the marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain positive and long-term business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achieving sales targets

 

 The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in the foodservice industry
  • High level of communication skills, able to communicate with chefs and business owners.
  • Proven success in business development and sales.
  • Located and living in the Sydney metropolitan zone.
  • Ability to travel in NSW.
  • A superior level of Customer Service focused on winning the customer.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
