Reporting into the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships across the NSW Independent Grocery Channel (IGA’s & FoodWorks). You will take charge of your territory, plan your weeks effectively and efficiently. Your key responsibilities start with driving sales & distribution objectives as set by the company, ensure in-store promotional activities are achieved, manage and negotiate shelf space and most importantly achieve your sales targets set for the range of products your will represent.

The Successful Applicant
This role is an opportunity for someone ideally who has had >5 years of FMCG field sales experience, preferably in the independent grocery sector selling to the IGA & Foodworks network. You are ultimately responsible for a given territory, however you will have a small element of administration to complete, ensuring state outcomes/information is communicated through to management.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong understanding of working with independent supermarkets, with an understanding of the Metcash model of supply to the independent marketplace.
