We’re looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team, supporting NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Canberra, Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong, Gunning, Yass, Gundaroo, Belconnen, Jerrabombera & surrounding areas. You might find us in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space. 

About the role

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
• A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
• A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
