Off Site Service Technician – High Pressure Gas

Your Career Opportunity : 

We have a fulltime Service Technician position available in our Off-Site High-Pressure Gas service team. 

In this role you will provide servicing and inspection of High-Pressure equipment including Breathing Air Compressor Units and Breathing Apparatus. In this role you will assist your manager on servicing pneumatic & hydraulic systems in accordance with client’s specifications and requirements. 

From time to time, there may be a requirement for you to travel to the customer site as directed by your manager to assist the team with the coordination of servicing work. 

This team is led by an experienced Manager who is committed to ensuring you succeed in the role.  

This is a hands-on position, and your duties include but are not limited to: 

• Mechanical work on high pressure air systems and various mechanical equipment
• Routine inspection, fault finding, survey and repairs of high pressure air systems
• Maintenance and servicing of customer and company equipment
• General mechanical/warehouse duties 
• Compliance with customer & company policies and regulation
• Presenting a positive image of Survitec
• Ensuring all operations are conducted in a safe, efficient and effective manner
• Other duties as requested by your manager 

About You

 We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience with mechanical & pneumatic systems. Compressor service experience is desirable.
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience. Attention to detail and excellent fault-finding ability.  
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence is essential.
• Must hold White card – general induction card. 
• Must be Citizen of Australia to be eligible for Defence Security Clearance.
• Must be willing to undergo a Federal Police Check before the start of employment.
• Company vehicle and mobile phone will be provided on this role.
• Adequate product service training will be provided.
