About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Office Administrator to join our business here in Perth, WA. This role is responsible for supporting the needs of Nightingale’s team and customers in all their typical office, systems and process needs.
  
Key elements of the role include;
  • Providing administrative and organisational assistance to the people in the business to ensure smooth and effective operation within the office and within their roles.
  • Stock management, arranging social functions, tea-room management, guest welcomes / boardroom setup, managing cleaning contracts and suppliers.
  • Back up for the Contracts and Accounts Officer when that person is on leave or has ‘overflow’ work. 

About you/Job Requirements:

You will be an energetic, natural people person. We’re looking for someone that is fun, bubbly, is proactive and always show initiative and who at times likes projects and working independently. This is an office based role as it’s important to greet our customers/visitors and guests, be our office host in that sense.
  
Key requirements:
  • Experience in an office administration role in a fast-paced and highly responsive business – preferably in a role that required you to truly be responsible and not require “to be told what to do next” type approach.
  • It’s essential to have a high attention to detail and be highly organised and highly responsive.
  • Be on time, accurate and diligent and able to work to meet deadlines.
  • Must have very good skills in SharePoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ideally, due to the role being backup for our Contracts and Accounts Officer, the successful candidate will have previous experience in office accounts, possibly with a bookkeeper/accounting qualification and/or demonstrable experience.
