Job Description - Office Assistant

This role is a full-time position in the oneZero Canberra office. Applicants must be based in the Canberra region or be willing to relocate.

Job Purpose:


Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to office staff to maintain an efficient and productive office environment. 



Duties:



  • Greets and assists visitors.

  • Orders workplace supplies and maintains records of delivery.

  • Assures office is neat, and stocked with necessary tools for functionality and efficiency.

  • Maintains kitchen supplies, including food, beverage and cleaning supplies.

  • Orders lunch each day for all employees. 

  • Communicate with building maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure services are delivered effectively.

  • Performs work-related errands as requested, such as going to the post office, etc. 

  • Prepares outgoing mail for distribution.

  • Assists in maintaining key employee and meeting schedules, as needed.

  • Photocopies and scans documents as needed

  • Organizes and maintains files and records. 

  • Is responsible, along with all other management and staff, for creating a work environment conducive to exceptional productivity and high employee morale. 

  • Other duties as assigned.
