We’re on the lookout for a vibrant addition to our Sydney team, ready to dive into the action on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 08:30 am to 5:00 pm

As the keeper of our Sydney office, you’ll be the heartbeat of our workplace, ensuring every team member feels valued and supported. Reporting to our People and Sales Operations Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our office culture and experience. 

At the heart of Simple Machines lies our people. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every member of our team enjoys an exceptional experience while they’re in the office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Office Lunches: Be the culinary maestro behind our gourmet team lunches! Manage orders, set up impressive spreads, and ensure everything is spotless afterward. 
  • Office Maintenance: Keep our workspace pristine and fully operational! Collaborate with building management, coordinate with couriers, and ensure supplies are always stocked and ready. 
  • Kitchen Duties: Transform our kitchen into a hub of energy! Keep snack jars filled with tasty treats, maintain our coffee machines for that perfect brew, and keep the drinks fridge well-stocked and refreshing. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Be the wizard behind the scenes! Assist with everything from ordering and sending tech and office equipment to all three of our regions, to updating consultant profiles, ensuring that everything is running smoothly. 
  • HR Support: Play a key role in shaping our workplace! Assist in updating HR policies across all regions to ensure we’re always at the top of our game, as well as supporting with driving workplace health and safety training. 
  • Merchandise Distribution: Spread the Simple Machines spirit by distributing our cool merch to all regions. 
  • Event Coordination: Be the mastermind behind our memorable team events! Help organise, set up, and pack up for dinners, end-of-year celebrations, and more. 
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Embrace the unexpected! Handle shopping for office items, popping out to the post office, managing weekly milk orders, and other spur-of-the-moment needs.
