The company:

Our clients are a fun, progressive financial services firm located in Greenwich, servicing a wide range of SME clients across varying industries. They provide a full service offering including Accounting and Taxation, Financial Planning and Mortgage Broking.

We are looking for a Senior Administrator/Office All-rounder and are flexible with part/time school hours for the right candidate. You will be a bright and energetic individual, with excellent communication skills, who will become an integral part of our client facing team taking their experience to the next level. You will be working from our beautiful Greenwich office, overlooking Sydney harbour and beyond, close to public transport options.

The Role:

As a highly valued member of our team, you will love being the FRONT FACE across all our divisions. You will provide a warm and welcoming experience to all our clients and visitors.
You will work closely with the Accounting Team, assuming responsibility for the administration and smooth running of the day to day operations.
  • Managing a team of three outsourced admin resources
  • Boardroom and diary management
  • Invoicing, debtor management and accounts payable 
  • New and existing client engagements
  • Developing and improving office procedures to support the objectives of the business
  • Database and systems management including the roll out of new software
  • ASIC corporate secretarial duties including the establishment of new Companies and Trusts
  • Liaise with ATO and oversee lodgements and compilation of client documents and reports
  • Organising team events
  • Maintaining the facilities and supplies of the office
  • Assisting with a broad range of adhoc administrative duties including scanning, emailing, filing & general office support
Experience:
  • Must have Previous administration and client facing experience in a public practice accounting firm
  • High level of Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) knowledge
  • Ability to empathise and build rapport with clients
  • Ability to delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure deliverables are met
  • Effective decision maker that can think on their feet and work under pressure
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills
