Job Description - Office Manager/ Senior Corporate Receptionist

Our client, a long-term government contractor is seeking a permanent Office Manager/ Corporate Receptionist to be based in their office in inner south suburb of Canberra.

  • Full time permanent role with salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 plus super.

Key Responsibilities:



  • High level of customer service to external stakeholders

  • Supervising other reception staff in offices Brisbane, Sydney, WA, and potentially Adelaide.

  • Contributing to the standardisation of reception processes across all corporate offices to ensure consistency.

  • Reviewing, amending, and writing policies to maintain compliance and best practices.

  • Handling daily Reception duties and providing a warm welcome to VIP guests.

  • Managing phone systems ensuring all phone calls are answered professionally.

  • Visitors check in and management.

  • Meeting room coordination and set up.

  • Ensuring that mail and deliveries are sorted and distributed to office personnel.

  • Monitoring of office supplies

  • Cooperation and support with the Executive Assistant team



About You:



  • Previous office management experience would be preferred.

  • Immaculate and professional personal presentation and always maintain a professional conduct.

  • Ability to review/amend/write policy and procedures.

  • Excellent customer service and corporate stakeholder management skills.

  • Have great interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and spoken)

  • Have great proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Is a team player, organised and efficient.



  • Must be an Australian Citizen

  • Must have or be able to pass a Government Baseline security clearance.
