Online Communications - Urgent Hire

Your new role
As the Online Communications Advisor, you will support the implementation of a new website, acting as the main contact for the external provider. You will manage and maintain the department's social media channels, ensuring content is customer-friendly and engaging.

You will draft and edit content for external publications, including quarterly newsletters and monthly e-newsletters. Additionally, you will provide advice and support to departments and project teams, identify and implement communications opportunities, and manage key messaging to protect the department's reputation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in building strong relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Experience using web content management systems.
  
• Experience managing corporate social media accounts.
  
• Demonstrated experience working with external providers on projects.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a complex environment.
  
• Strong writing skills tailored for the web, with attention to detail and adherence to plain language principles.
  
• Proficiency in HTML coding and understanding of web accessibility.
  
• Experience in content structure planning and familiarity with digital best practices.
  
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise tasks efficiently.
