Job Description - Operations Executive

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane OR Cairns office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This opportunity is offered on a fixed-term contract until April 2027.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and technical support, ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely production of all invoicing and related documentation. You will also handle inbound calls and deliver exceptional customer service regarding Billing of existing and new policies.

We will count on you to:

  • Handle customer inquiries via telephone (inbound and outbound) and email.

  • Maintain a basic understanding of relevant insurance legislation and promote good listening skills.

  • Collaborate closely with the Team Leader and senior colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute to achieving Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and business objectives.

What you need to have:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent.

  • Preferably, at least 1 year experience in a similar broking/operational role in an insurance-related field.

  • Excellent analytical , coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
