Global Logistics provide s sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.

We provide specialised integrated logistics services to customers in a range of industries including mining, chemical, gases, steel and plastics, petroleum, energy and Australian oil and gas industries and agriculture. Our customers operate in some of the most remote places on earth, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and require a logistics partner who can match their needs. We offer integrated value-based logistics solutions that bring greater operating efficiency and savings to our customers’ supply chains.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic Gasses team in Wetherill Park NSW. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team and drive operational excellence in a critical sector.

As the Operations Manager, you will:

Serve as a strategic people manager, providing coaching and mentorship to team members for their professional development

Analyse operational processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency

Lead the implementation of new initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to overall business success

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects and achieve operational excellence

Ensure compliance with safety standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team

Efficiently manage resources to meet operational goals and targets.

To be a success in this role, your prior experience will include:

A managerial role, preferably in logistics or operations.

Exceptional people leadership and coaching skills.

Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.

Proven ability to implement and drive new initiatives effectively.
