About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in hospitality and a passion for the beverage industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about driving growth in the beverage space while managing the day-to-day operations of the venue. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, is dedicated to enhancing customer experience, and is eager to innovate and expand our beverage offerings. Duties, Expectations and Responsibilities

  • Build a skilled, motivated, and extraordinary hospitality-focused team.
  • Communicate and drive Food and Beverage revenue targets through operational excellence.
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting and financial goal setting (Bars).
  • Identify learning gaps in the Beverage & Front of House team, providing targeted training for skill enhancement.
  • Encourage and participate in designated training programs for personal and team development.
  • Manage performance issues in consultation with the Venue Manager, following prescribed strategies.
  • Foster open communication through regular Team Meetings to share ideas, challenges, successes, and departmental updates.
  • Actively participate in venue Leadership Meetings, leading beverage-related discussions.
  • Maintain a meaningful presence during critical operation times to lead, support, and inspire excellence in customer service and experience.
  • Uphold high standards of compliance, ensuring all operations align with venue license requirements, compliance measures, and the organisations legal, commercial, and community obligations.

About You:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in large venues with strong Food & Beverage focus
  • Demonstrated experience leading large and dynamic teams fostering a culture that drives high performance, engagement and accountability
  • Strong focus on compliance
  • A strong eye for detail across all facets of the venue operations
  • Current NSW RSA/RCG is mandatory.
  • Own drivers licence and transport
