Securing the largest cleaning and minor maintenance contract that BNE has awarded in its history, we have the pleasure to announce a number of management opportunities.

We are recruiting for an Operations Manager, based at Brisbane Airport on a Full-Time basis. 

This challenging, but exciting role will see you provide the opportunity for you to show your leadership and management skills overseeing the day-to-day operations across various location at Brisbane Airport.

The Position

Reporting to the Key Account Manager you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the performance of a small supervisory team
• Ensuring employees adhere to health and safety practices
• Timely and effective production of reports against our Client’s KPIs
• Demonstrate leadership skills and integrity to work as a part of a site based management team 
• Delivery of excellent customer service
• Delivery of high quality communications to diverse Stakeholders
• Control, monitor and report on costs associated with the contract
• Act in accordance with all the company’s policies and procedures

Minimum Criteria 

• Experience in a similar role or a similar aviation role
• Ability to understand complex Cleaning and Minor Maintenance contracts and deliver on the key performance areas
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication and management
• Understanding of the Cleaning Industry , Aviation desirable but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Professional presentation and customer service
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight demands
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Demonstrated experience in managing workplace health & safety matters
• Australian Citizen or hold valid Right to Work
• Able to obtain an ASIC (Airport Security Identification Card)
