We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Operations Manager to join our growing business. The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient and compliant system of operation to support our medical and pharmaceutical supply and distribution business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking, working internally across the business and externally with our partners and regulators. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in pharmaceutical warehousing and logistics, and tertiary education in operations management or a related field is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and review processes and procedures such as for equipment use, standard work and inventory management, and to ensure these processes are compliant and effective.
- Identify issues with quality control and implement improvements. This includes conducting audits, managing complaints and maintaining workplace safety.
- Oversee and improve organisational performance and efficiency of all work groups including human resources (HR), Information Technology and Communication (ITC), finance and marketing.
- Act as an effective liaison between Provocatus’ leadership and work groups to ensure all projects and activities align to strategic goals and objectives.
- Assist Provocatus to remain legally compliant and manage contractual arrangements to ensure they are fit for purpose and represent value for money.
- Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of staff, including managing the staff roster, communicating job expectations and conducting employee performance appraisals to foster a high performing culture and workplace morale.
- Provide insights and data to assist with strategic planning and budgeting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask and problem solve
- Comfort working with multiple groups within business
- Strong financial acumen
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Tertiary education in business operations management or a related field (highly desirable)
