Operating Reporting & Analytics Team Leader  |  Permanent Full-time  |  Perth CBD


 


As our Operating Reporting & Analytics Team Leader you will lead a Reporting & Analytics team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, technical reporting expertise, and operational delivery. You will be responsible for coaching, direction and support while ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality reporting solutions that enable informed business decisions. You will also remain technically involved by developing and enhancing reporting solutions where required.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established analytics team while remaining involved in technical delivery. You'll play a key role in helping the business transform data into meaningful insights that support operational performance and strategic decision-making.


 



  • Lead, coach and develop a team of five Reporting Analysts.

  • Build a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Develop, maintain and enhance operational dashboards and reports using Qlik and other reporting tools.

  • Analyse and interpret complex business data, presenting insights through clear and effective visualisations.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical business solutions.

  • Prioritise competing workloads while ensuring projects and operational reporting are delivered on time.

  • Provide strategic direction while empowering your team to take ownership of day-to-day delivery.

  • Support reporting initiatives across the business as priorities evolve.

You are an experienced people leader who enjoys developing others while driving outcomes. You lead with trust and empowerment, while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. You are proactive, results-focused and comfortable guiding your team through changing business priorities.


 


You will also bring:



  • Proven experience leading and coaching technical or reporting teams.

  • Strong SQL skills (essential).

  • Experience in reporting, data analysis and data visualisation.

  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports.

  • Experience with Qlik, Power BI or equivalent.

  • Understanding of ETL processes and back-end data integration (desirable).

  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data transformation concepts (desirable).

  • General project management experience.

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (desirable).
