Job Description - Operations Scheduler

About the Role:

We are now looking for an experiencedOperations candidate to work with the team based at our Wacol branch. Customer Service is our priority and is the driving force behind our vision and values.With more and more people relocating across the country and the globe, our teams services are more in demand than ever before.The operations area of the branch is a fast paced environment, reporting to the Operations Manager this isa fantastic opportunity to work in a large organisation that will support you to achieve a long-term career.

As an operational support to the Operations Manager, some of what you will be doing:

  • Scheduling of all employees/vehicles for local, interstate, & international removals
  • Careful daily planning/resourcing of crew onto booked removals/jobs
  • Liaising with clients regarding uplift and delivery times
  • Mentoring of crew
  • Briefing/Debriefing of crew
  • Induction/onboarding management
  • Monthly operational reporting requirements
  • Contractor invoicing management
  • Fleet maintenance/management
  • Onsite OHS requirements

About you:

You will ideally have experience in:

  • Scheduling crews within Road Transport or related environments
  • Team Lead experience of a frontline operational team, preferably within Removals
  • Ability to build and develop long term business relationships
  • Well developed computer skills using MS suite
  • Proven history of commitment to provide exceptional customer service
