UON is a Western Australian integrated energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond.
We are seeking Operators to join our onsite projects team on a 2:1 Roster / Paid Fortnightly.
To be successful in this role you will need:
3 – 5 years’ experience in operator roles in relevant mine/construction sites.
BHP and FMG inducted (desirable)
Essential tickets:
Current Manual WA HR Class Drivers Licence
White/Blue Card Construction
Current Chainsaw certification
Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
Current High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG)
Valid Load restraint training (Secure Cargo & Load And Unload Goods/Cargo)
Valid Operating Tickets – Excavator (LE)
Valid Operating Tickets -IT Loader
Valid Operating Tickets -Skid steer Loader (LS)
Desirable tickets:
Current High Risk Work Licence - C6 – Up to 60 tonne capacity slewing crane
Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Training
Cardiopulmonary Perform Resuscitation (CPR) Training
Senior First Aid Training
Current Nationally Accredited Confined Space Ticket (within 2 years)
Chain of Responsibility – Drivers Training
Key duties of this role includes:
Inspect the Company equipment on daily basis using the UON standard checklists, reporting any incidents, issues and/or maintenance requirements to supervision/management.
Operate and maintain the Company and equipment to Company, Client and manufacturers requirements.
Strong understanding of inspection test report (ITRs) and hold points.
Strong understanding of compaction methods.
Working knowledge of site safety requirements to observe and maintain a high level of safety practice at all times.
Manage own time to complete assigned tasks with minimal or no supervision.
Work as a team to develop and utilise the skills and knowledge required to deliver quality.
Think and behave in accordance with UON Values and Behaviours.
Participation and delivery of site and workshop tasks/works as directed by supervisor/management.
Perform any additional tasks as required from time to time.
