Job Description - Organisational Development Consultant
Organisational Development Consultant Your New Role In this role you will contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of organisational development strategies across the business. This role is ideal for an experienced OD specialist who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders to lift capability and embed best-practice development principles. This is a 6-month contract role to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for:
Collaborating on talent management and succession planning frameworks to ensure alignment with best practice.
Influencing and advising senior leaders on OD programs, leadership capability and development strategies.
Supporting leaders through change by applying contemporary change management methodologies.
Designing, delivering and facilitating leadership workshops, team development sessions and capability initiatives informed by evidence-based OD research.
Leading key programs including career development and the employee engagement survey, ensuring business-wide education, adoption and impact.
Monitoring and evaluating OD initiatives through participant feedback and outcome measures.
Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Partnering effectively with leaders to understand development needs and deliver tailored solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development
Demonstrated experience in OD and L&D within medium-large organisations, including leadership coaching, designing and facilitating development programs, delivering change initiatives, and managing end-to-end projects.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence outcomes across all levels of the organisation.
Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and apply adult learning principles.
Proactive, action-oriented mindset with strong business insight, customer focus, self-awareness, and authenticity.
High interpersonal savvy, confidence managing conflict, and the ability to role model organisational values and behaviours.
Deep knowledge across leadership development, talent management, career development, culture, team effectiveness and employee engagement.
