Extend OSHC at Waverly Christian College, Narre Warren South

Position: Casual Position.

Hourly Rate: $32 - $41 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $3.12 - $3.96 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Before School Care: 6:45 am to 8:45 am
• After School Care: 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
• Hours: Monday to Friday. Guaranteed all school days and Vacation Care.
• Travel: Work close to home.

Key Responsibilities

As our OSHC Service Assistant you will:

• Build Trust: Instill confidence and build strong relationships within the school community.
• Faithfully Embody: Respect and align with the school’s faith-based values and ethos during interactions with children, families and school staff.
• Inspire and Deliver: Enriching and intentional play-based programs that foster engagement, creativity and quality learning.
• Chef it up: Prepare healthy, tasty breakfast and afternoon tea.
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels important.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
• The Essentials: A valid Working with Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, Food Safety Handler, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• The Vibe: You’re warm, engaging, and have a "can-do" attitude.
• Dress for success: Uphold a standard of polished professionalism to match the school.
