Permanent position with a wide range of benefits from our client! Based in the picturesque Hunter Valley! Salary range between $99,824 - $114,797 per annum plus 12% superannuation! We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client in the beautiful Hunter Valley. This role will deliver Capital Works and Renewal Programs for local open spaces and community facilities. The types of projects could include new sporting amenity buildings, public toilets, community facility upgrades, floodlights, playgrounds, netball/multipurpose courts, skateparks, etc.

Key accountabilities:

1. Contribute to the development of open space and community facility Capital Works and Renewal Programs in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
2. Provide project management services for the design and construction of open space and community facilities.
3. Prepare, update and maintain project documents.
4. Overseeing completion of approval documents, minor REF’s, project briefs, request for quotations, tenders, project development plans and project completion reports for projects included in capital works and renewal programs and finalisation reports.
5. Reviewing and preparing estimates and variation requests for projects including provision of estimates for grant applications.

What we need from you:

Experience in:

1. Minor or major open space and community facility works inclusive of scoping, programming, budgeting, contract administration and delivery.
2. Extensive experience in technical specifications, project-scheduling techniques, project cost estimating and control and quality assurance and control.
3. Strong time management skills.
4. Previous experience in a supervisory role.
5. Experience working within Local Government (desirable).
