Job Description - Outbound Team Leader

Our client, ENGIE, is a leading Australian energy retailer providing gas and electricity to more than 700,000 accounts across VIC, SA, NSW, QLD and WA. They have partnered with us to grow their market share. 

About the Role
As a Team Leader you will manage the day-to-day activities and performance of your team of Outbound Sales Consultants by supporting, coaching, and driving the overall success of the team. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of your Customer Service Representatives 
  • Rostering of staff, scheduling for planned and unplanned leave with managing daily workload and ensuring phone coverage.
  • Support, coach and drive the overall success of the team.
  • Assisting with workload in high-volume times.
  • Lead, train and develop your team to deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quality assurance of procedures, monitoring team phone calls to ensure high level of knowledge, skills and abilities.

About you:

  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience within a contact centre preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motive your team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant computer software and hardware.
  • Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer literacy.
