A highly regarded, fully serviced Gold Coast law firm is looking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal to support a busy Litigation Lawyer. Their team are very busy and the Partner has an abundance of work on the table and needs the support of a paralegal who can be his right hand.  If you love interesting work and a friendly environment, then you will find that here and you will love working in this team.

The Role:
This exciting opportunity will see you working within a genuinely lovely and supportive team of Paralegals and talented Litigation Specialists. Your duties will include some of the following responsibilities:-  

• Drafting correspondence and sending letters and emails; 
• Filing incoming and outgoing correspondence; 
• Preparing Costs Agreements and associated documents;
• Collating and indexing disclosure documents and pleadings;
• Drafting Lists of Documents, Briefs to Counsel and a variety of court documents;
• Conducting research;
• Liaising with clients on the phone to assist in managing client expectations;
• Assist in preparing and issuing monthly client bills;
• Assisting with Debt Recovery including drafting letter of demand, QCAT applications and Deeds of Settlement;
• Scheduling meetings / managing calendars;
• Court filing on Commonwealth Courts Portal;
• Liaising with clients and practitioners; and
• General Paralegal and Administrative support tasks as required. 

To be successful you will be:-
Looking to progress your career as a Paralegal and come with litigation experience or similar experience and you want to earn your worth. You will be looking to jump into a new role that has room for growth and development and hit the ground running! 

Need a minimum of 2 years’ Paralegal / Law Clerk experience in Litigation 

• A strong desire to grow and step up, be part of the team and collaborate

• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines;
• Flexibility, adaptability and reliability at all times;
• Confidence to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
