We are currently seeking a full time 1st year Chef Apprentice
to join our kitchen team at Parklands Resort Mudgee. 

Parklands Resort and Conference Centre is all about relaxation and comfort. Nestled on 30 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, our resort stands as the gateway to Mudgee's renowned food and wine region. Ideal for business, leisure, and events, we boast the largest conference facilities in the Central West Region. 

About The Role

Experience in a bustling, food-focused setting is highly preferred. This role requires proficiency in people management, KPIs, food and wage cost analysis, and staying up to date with current food trends.

Key responsibilities include:

• Learning Culinary skills and menu items, preparation methods, and presentation.


• Learning food portioning and rotation to maintain cost efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations.
  


• Overseeing food procurement and inventory management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.


• learning organization and maintaining kitchen storage areas for efficiency and cleanliness.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
