Job Description - Part-Time HR Generalist

About Our Client

Our client is a subsidiary of an international organise who operate in the manufacturing and distribution space. They are very well known in the industry, due to their high-quality service levels and recognisable branding in the industry. This opportunity is excellent for a candidate, who wants permanent, part-time work during school hours to complete a standalone, end-to-end HR generalist role.

Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director - Australia, your main role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Partner with all employees in the business in all HR matters, including employee relations and engagement.
  • Be the sole point of contact for all internal HR matters including ER, grievances, and policy updates.
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of the organisational culture and benefits program for approx. 50 employees.
  • Partner with business units to implement retention strategies for both blue- and white-collar operations.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment for internal roles.
  • Partner with business leaders on upskilling, performance, and training programs.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist who is a self-starter and wants to take on a challenge of being the sole HR representative in their Australian subsidiary business. To be successful, you'll need to have excellent communication and business partnering skills and be comfortable taking on all areas of a HR generalist, daily. This is a newly developed role, where you'll have autonomy to run and develop the HR environment, with the main aim to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
