About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Partnership Manager, to deliver the Magic Millions sponsorship program across all events, specifically leading up to and during the annual Magic Millions Carnival and all other Magic Millions Sale events across Australia. 

You will play a pivotal role in cultivating robust relationships with key partners and stakeholders and serve as a liaison between Magic Millions, stakeholders, and partners. Ensuring that all sponsorship benefits are fulfilled and that partner expectations regarding commercial outcomes are effectively managed.

Key Result Areas: 

• Collaborate with the Magic Millions Carnival Team and sponsorship procurement agency to develop and maintain relationships with all commercial partners.
• Manage sponsorship and corporate partner agreements to maximise outcomes for Magic Millions Sales and events.
• Support the development and implementation of the events calendar, especially during the January Carnival, to drive visitation and economic impact to the Gold Coast and Queensland.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and delivery of all commercial partnerships for Magic Millions.
• Ensure administrative requirements are met, collaborating with the sponsorship procurement agency for accountability and return on investment.
• Prepare and regularly update partners and stakeholders by providing partners with an asset register.
• Ensure sponsor benefits are executed year-round and coordinate sponsor marketing collateral.
• Manage logistics and execution of partnership benefits with Magic Millions team and event agencies.
• Develop and manage signage placements, assist with Fashion on the Field planning, and manage sponsor guest lists.
• Facilitate B2B introductions, develop sponsor packs, and assist with event run-sheets.
• Coordinate Ambassador appearances and work with PR and broadcast teams to meet media requirements.
• Generate activation ideas with sponsors, ensure event staff have marketing collateral, procure trophies, and provide annual post-event reports.

Your Qualifications & Competencies:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, marketing and communications or related fields, or equivalent experience;
• Proven experience in commercially driven environments and partnership management;
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with a mature and professional approach
• Demonstrated ability to identify and steward prospective sponsors from approach and proposal through the stage of executed contract and delivered benefits.
• Temperament to work within a fast paced, timeline driven industry, delivering results on time, every time; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
