PAWsitive Impact with your FourLegged Friend! Residential Care, Daw Park

Job Description - PAWsitive Impact with your FourLegged Friend! Residential Care, Daw Park

Make a PAWsitive Impact With Your Four‑Legged Friend!

Bring along your gentle, good‑natured pet and spend time chatting with older residents at our HammondCare aged care home in Daw Park. A friendly visit, a wagging tail, and a warm presence can brighten someone’s day in the most beautiful way.

You’ll see first-hand just how much joy, comfort, and connection your furry companion can bring.

As you're bringing your pet into an care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is:

- Calm, patient and gentle in nature

- Up-to-date with vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas

- Nails should be short and blunt. Freshly cut nails can be sharp if not filed down.

- Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
