We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Operations team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee payroll data. Based in Huntingwood, this is a permanent full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision, deadlines and customer service matter.

About the Role

This role is heavily focused on payroll administration, high-volume data entry and data accuracy. You'll be responsible for processing employee information, maintaining payroll records and ensuring all changes are entered correctly and on time within strict payroll deadlines.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll manage payroll-related transactions, investigate discrepancies, maintain employee master data and provide support across the wider payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing new employee onboarding information and payroll setup


• Maintaining and updating employee master data records


• Processing employee changes including remuneration updates, transfers and status changes


• Reviewing and updating payroll-related requests and enquiries


• Ensuring all payroll data is entered accurately and within agreed timeframes


• Reconciling and validating data to maintain high levels of accuracy


• Liaising with stakeholders to resolve payroll data queries


• Supporting payroll compliance activities and additional payroll administration tasks as required

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys administrative work, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in a payroll administration or payroll support role


• Strong data entry experience with high levels of accuracy


• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills


• The ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage strict deadlines


• Strong organisational and time management skills


• Intermediate Excel skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• A proactive and team-focused approach to work

Highly Desirable

• CHRIS21 experience


• Previous payroll processing experience


• Experience working with employee master data and payroll systems


• Exposure to awards, enterprise agreements or payroll compliance requirements
