Payroll and Accounts Receivable Officer - Exciting Challenge

The Essington School is a parent-led, non-denominational, co-educational school in Rapid Creek, Darwin which currently employs 150 staff, including 125 full/part-time staff and 25 casual staff. 

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Payroll and Account Receivable Officer to permanently join our finance team on a full basis with an immediate start. 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to perform the end-to-end processing of payroll on a fortnightly basis, the day-to-day processing of financial transactions and timely follow-up with outstanding debtors. This position is a vital part of the finance team and will work closely with the finance team to ensure that the school finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous payroll and/or Accounts receivable experience,
• Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline.

Requirements:

• Ochre card,
• Police check (last 6 months)
