Our Clientu&u are supporting a Queensland headquartered Financial Services business with the recruitment of their Payroll Compliance Specialist, on an initial six month contract.
Our client operates across Queensland, employing around 250 staff, who work from the head office in Brisbane CBD.
Your ContributionThe Payroll Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely pay for our client’s employees. The role will be supported by the Payroll Admin, who has a wealth of experience in the daily operations of payroll and takes ownership for the majority of processing level tasks.
The Payroll Compliance Specialist will be responsible for checking and approving the fortnightly payroll, as well as ensuring all compliance, governance, audit and reporting requirements are met.
This role will work closely alongside the external outsourced payroll provider, requiring strong relationships management and data verification skills.
Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Seven years end to end payroll, leadership and management;
- Specific skillset relating to payroll compliance and reporting;
- Experience using a large payroll system such as ichris, Aurion or UKG;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- An autonomous, confident, confidential and proactive style; and
- Comfortable committing to an initial six month contract.
Other- Initial 6 month contract;
- Must be able to begin in January 2025;
- Generous salary on offer, $120k - $150k + super dependant on experience;
- Brisbane CBD location;
- 2 days work from home per week; and
- Open to offering part time hours if required,
