About the Role

As the Payroll Lead, you'll oversee the overall payroll function whilst leading a team of four direct reports. This role will take step back from hands on processing, and you will be required to put in place process improvements, report into senior leadership, run payroll meetings and more

Duties:

• Lead a team of four direct reports and continue their growth and learning.
• Regularly conduct data audits and identify areas of improvement
• Ensure governance and compliance practices are controlled, keeping up to date with EBA's and Awards
• Maintaining the highest degree of quality with regards to policies and procedures and lead improvements reducing manual workarounds
• Ensure the overall delivery of the payroll function, liaising with stakeholders & executive team members
• Lead process improvement within the team, including suggesting new processes to Senior Management

Skills and Experience

• Proven people management experience, working in a similar role
• Proven track record in managing full end to end Payroll function
• Previous experience in managing multiple EBA's and Awards
• Proven experience in meeting deadlines under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills between colleagues and third parties
