Payroll Manager

Payroll Manager role based in Caboolture | Full-time permanent position Your new company
This growing Australian company that operates in a range of markets is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their small finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will require the successful applicant to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The position will be based in their Brisbane Northside offices in Caboolture, which offers plenty of onsite car parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead and mentor a small payroll team

Hands on payroll processing as required

Award and employment agreement interpretation

Payroll reconciliations and payroll reporting

Identify and implement process improvement as required

Assisting with system upgrades

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position

Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities

Excellent communication skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Strong systems and Excel skills
