A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer to join a dynamic organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation. With new payroll, time & attendance, and HR platforms being rolled out, this role offers the chance to directly contribute to improved processes and modernised systems.

Your new role
In this position, you'll support the smooth delivery of payroll and HR functions, playing a key role in processing accurate fortnightly payroll, maintaining high-quality employee records, and ensuring compliance across all payroll activities.
You'll also be hands-on in assisting with the implementation of new systems, including UKG and Payroll Metrics - perfect for someone who enjoys being part of positive change.

• Process full-function payroll on a fortnightly basis with accuracy and compliance
• Respond to payroll queries and employee enquiries
• Support onboarding activities, including data entry for pay rates, banking, super, tax, and allowances
• Maintain confidential payroll and HR records
• Contribute to the rollout of new payroll, HR, and time & attendance platforms

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Payroll role
• Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator across all levels
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a busy team
• Skilled in using multiple IT applications and HR/payroll systems
• Discreet, professional, and committed to confidentiality
• Positive team contributor with a proactive attitude
