Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer | Brisbane North | $80,000 - $85,000 + SuperYour new company:This national company, which is the leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing payroll team on a permanent basis. The role will be based in their Brisbane offices, which are located on the Northside and offers onsite car parking.
Your new role:Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Employee file maintenance
• End to end payroll processing
• Processing holiday / sick pay
• Award interpretation
• Handling payroll queries via phone and email
• Payroll reporting and reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed:In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger sized company
• Previous experience with award interpretation
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Experience working on large payroll systems
