Payroll Officer Fixed Term Contract in North Sydney Region

Your new company

You will be working for one of Australia's upcoming service organisations that has been contributing to Sydney's excellence and lifestyle for several decades. This company will offer you insight into national trading, project upgrades and improvements as well as senior payroll duties in a convenient, savvy north-Sydney location.


Your new role

In this 12-month fixed-term contract, you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing a portfolio of weekly and fortnightly payruns across 20 small entities (600+ payruns)
• Trained in their T&A and ERP - (you will be trained)
• Dealing with multiple stakeholders
• Be accountable and across several EBAs and modern awards
• Wage hourly paid processes
• Attend to payroll enquiries and customer service
• System improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed

• End to end in house experience
• Payroll processing experience
• Attention to detail
• High management
• Being able to multitask
• Quick paced
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills (word and excel)
• A team player and able to work with minimal supervision
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
