Payroll Officer

About the Role:
In this permanent role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll. This role will include:

• Contribute to the accurate processing of payroll,
• Ensure compliance and adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
• Apply your expertise in EBA and award interpretation to ensure payroll accuracy for our employees.
• Play a key role in employee termination processes while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply EBA and award conditions to payroll processes.
• Experience in managing employee terminations with attention to detail and adherence to company policies.
• Strong knowledge of superannuation calculations and associated compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Although you will be working on Micropay, you do not need Micropay experience but exposure to large payroll systems in busy, high-volume environments will be critical.
