The Company
We are partnering with a dynamic and innovative resources organisation, who operate globally. They currently seek a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join the Payroll Manager, on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company and gain valuable experience in the payroll & resources sector.
Based in South Perth, you will have access to free parking, but also be close to public transport if you are local.
The Role
Reporting to, and working with Payroll Manager, your duties will include;
- Processing payroll on a fortnightly basis for 2 national business groups
- Processing payroll on a monthly basis for 2 international business groups
- Processing timesheets, calculating leave balances and penalties
- Various reconciliations including superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG
- Ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update employee records and payroll databases.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on various payroll-related matters
About You - 3 + years experience as a payroll officer, in an end to end capacity
- Strong understanding of Australian laws & regulations
- Understanding of international payroll requirements highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication & problem solving ability
- Experience n Micropay, ADP, or Chris21
